Flexible to use.
Around 300°C, begins smoke and colors a little brown, it is usual for glass fiber.
Around 500°C begins flame.  

Not good to use: Under clean room, liquid, chemicals.

Glass super fine G(SF) The outer diameter is very thin (0,45 x 0,65), you can use this for very narrow/small place.
Very flexible to use.
However in case the thermocouples are very twisted or used very often, the insulation can become not more perfect. Due to save the thickness there are no grid insulation but quilled with one way.
Not good to use: Under clean room, liquid, chemicals.
(Under liquid/chemicals the insulation will not work)

(*) The above heat resistance is the wire manufacture' specification. It can change according to the conditions of use.

To recognise easily the plus(red) side and minus(white) side, we put on 2 colors with the hear shrink tubes for the end part of the glass fiber insulation. Those heat shrink tubes have not so high heat resistance. If you prefer to not have these heat shrink tubes, please let us know. We can make without those heat shrink tubes.

[6] Options for thermocouple

KFG-25-200-300 (C) (S) (The (C) means a mini connector is connected to the thermocouple, (S) means the tip is solder coated to the Fine thermocouple.)

KSG-20-100-100 (B) (The (B) means one side of the Sheet thermocouple is black-bodied Sheet thermocouple. )

Both side black body (BB) Ideal for giving faster response times and more accuracy when infrared energy comes from both sides. 
For Multi-Purpose Thermocouples and Sheet Thermocouples.
Blackbodied surface has also insulation properties.
Polyimide tape Reinforcement (R) Reinforcing of connection between original wire and fine wire.
For fine Thermocouples or Fine & Sheet Thermocouples.
Polyimide tape (64 µm thickness): heat resistance 260°C.
Polyimide tape cover (T) Polyimide tape cover for a Sheet Thermocouple.
Polyimide tape (64 µm thickness): heat resistance 260°C.
Please take care, the Polyimide tape prevents heat conduction, which causes much slower response. Most of the time we don't recommend this option, except exception.

Please make sure the thermocouples with option may require longer delivery time than normal delivery date.
